The new Kingston Farmers' Market in Midtown will be open every Tuesday from 3-7pm starting Tuesday, May 28th. The market is located on Broadway in Kingston between Henry and Cedar Street, just steps away from UPAC. We've got an exciting line up of vendors and activity for the summer.
The Kingston Farmers' Market Uptown returns to Uptown Kingston from 9- 2pm Starting Saturday, May 25th. The Market in Uptown has a new location, still on Wall Street, but now on the same block as the Old Dutch Church.

Author Celebrated Author Sherri Brooks Vinton to visit the market in Uptown Kingston on June 8th.
Vinton shares her story of how she fell in love with the art of preserving. Her new book, Put 'em Up! For our inaugural post we introduced Tamar Adler and her book Everlasting Meal. Check out the first chapter of the book and the accompanying video below. Tamar appeared at the Market on Saturday, June 30th and did a cooking demonstration and talked a bit about her new book.

Uptown Opening Day: May 25th
The Kingston Farmers' Uptown Market celebrates Opening Day on Saturday, May 25th, from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. At 10:00 a.m. join local dignitaries at the vine-cutting ceremony. Master Gardeners from Cornell Cooperative Extension will be on hand to answer your gardening questions. Come early for their plant giveaway. Music, face painting, and balloon twisting add to the festive flare of Opening Day. Come shop the over 30 vendors offering flavorful fares such as fresh fruits and vegetables, organic and natural meats, a wide assortment of cheeses, wine, breads and other baked goods, honey, fresh-cut flowers and so much more! Because healthy eating is for everyone, FMNP & EBT are naturally accepted. The Market will continue, rain or shine, every Saturday through November 23rd. The Kingston Farmers' Market will be located one block down from its previous location on Wall Street, now between Main & John Streets, still in the Historic Stockade District of Uptown Kingston. This weekly event has plenty of free parking and is close to the New York State Thruway at Exit 19.

Midtown Opening Day: May 28th
The Kingston Farmers' Midtown Market celebrates its Opening Day from 3:00 - 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 28th. The Market's Broadway location between Henry Street and the Ulster Performing Arts Center makes it a perfect venue for the Center for Creative Education's "Let's Move Ulster!" The event begins at 5:00 p.m. Then join Mayor Shayne Gallo, Ulster County Executive Mike Hein, Senator Cecilia Tkaczyk, and Congressman Chris Gibson at the Midtown Market's "Vine-Cutting Ceremony" beginning at 5:30. Shop the Midtown Market's farm-to-table vendors: Black Forrest FlammuKuchen (wood fired Alpine Pizza), Brook Farm Project (vegetables), Fitzgerald Farm (chicken & eggs), Freddy's Rockin' Hummus, Bob Hamley's Pickles, Migliorelli Farm (fruits and vegetables), and Twisted Jeanne's Pretzels. You can pick-up your dinner to go, or eat onsite in the new San Severia. The Market continues every Tuesday, rain-or-shine, through September 24th.
